Policies
- Use of the pool at any time is at the swimmer's own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Any injuries or accidents should be reported to the Club attendant immediately.
- Everyone wishing to use the pool facilities must first register before entering the pool. Members must register their guests and are responsible for the payment of any appropriate charges as the Club may determine from time to time.
- Children twelve (12) years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children without adequate swimming skills must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
- Children must be three (3) years of age and potty trained to use the pool. Children wearing diapers are not permitted in the pool. Swimming diapers are available for purchase at the Fitness Center.
- Swimming is permitted only during designated hours. The pool is officially closed when a "CLOSED" sign is posted.
- Showers are required before entering the pool to remove all suntan oils and lotions.
- Drinks, glass objects, drinking glasses and sharp objects are not permitted in the pool area. Trash should be placed in the containers located throughout the pool area.
- No coolers are permitted at the pool facilities. The Club must provide all food and beverages. Food is only allowed in designated areas of the pool facilities.
- All swimmers must wear bona fide swimming attire. Cut-offs, dungarees and Bermudas are not considered appropriate swimwear. Proper non-swim attire is required at all times in the Clubhouse. Shoes or other foot coverings and caftans or shirts must be worn outside the swimming pool area.
- Be considerate of your neighbors' rights, avoid unnecessary noise and improper conduct. Radios, tape players, etc., may not be played in the pool area unless headphones are used.
- Animals, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, in-line skates, play balls of any type, and coolers are restricted from the pool area.
- Lifesaving and pool cleaning equipment should be used only for the purposes intended.
- Running, ball playing and noisy or hazardous activity is not permitted in the pool area.
- Pushing, dunking and dangerous games are prohibited.
- Scuba and snorkeling equipment, other than a mask, and snorkel are not to be used in the pool areas except as part of an organized course of instruction approved by the Club.
- The throwing of footballs, Frisbees, tennis balls, or other objects, spitting or spouting water, and tag games are not allowed in the pool area. The pool staff has the authority to expel from the pool area anyone who fails to cooperate in following the Pool Rules or whose conduct is otherwise unbecoming of a Member.
- Swimming parties may be arranged through the Club in advance of the occasion.
- All persons using pool furniture are required to cover the furniture with a towel when using suntan oils and lotions. The use of these oils and lotions could stain or damage the furniture.
- All persons using the pool area are urged to cooperate in keeping the area clean by properly disposing of towels, cans, cigarettes, etc.
- Smoking is NOT permitted in the pool area.
- Flotation devices are permitted for non-swimming children up to five (5) years of age. Small toys such as balls, rings, etc. may be permitted, depending on the number of persons in the pool and the manner in which the toys are used. Tire inner tubes and air mattresses are not permitted.
- Persons who leave the pool area for over thirty (30) minutes must relinquish lounges and chairs by removing all towels and personal belongings. Saving of chairs for persons absent from the pool area is prohibited.
- The Club staff has full authority to enforce these rules and regulations and any infractions will be reported to the General Manager.
