EXCELLENCE IN AMENITIES AND FACILITIES

Over the last 36 months, Addison Reserve constructed a new Lifestyle Complex and refreshed the 70,000 square foot Clubhouse. The Lifestyle Complex was designed to capitalize on the South Florida living style with green spaces and outdoor amenities.

The refreshed 70,000 square foot Clubhouse mirrors the color palette and aesthetics of the Lifestyle Complex. The membership has voted to embrace more enhancements to the community and club. In the spring of 2023, we will commence the major restoration of one of the three 9-hole championship golf courses. (The second 18 holes will be restored in 2024). Originally done by Arthur Hills, the redesign will be under the supervision of famed golf course architect Rees Jones. In addition to visual and aesthetic improvements, the courses will receive much needed updates to the infrastructure. There will be a new virtual golf concept building and an adjacent food and beverage outlet at the back of the current driving range for members' enjoyment .

This project, when completed, will round out the improvements outlined in the long range planning of the board and management.

"Excellence Is Our Standard," is not just our motto, it is our goal. So many of our members encourage their friends to become "Addison-ites." We believe this is the highest compliment of all. Each staff member is part of our "work family!" That culture is embraced by the staff from the day of orientation and throughout their entire career at Addison. This culture fosters low turnover among staff, which in turn, is reflected in superior service for our members and their families and friends.

ADAPTING TO CHANGING TIMES

Change is what we do best! The past couple of years have shown us just how adaptable we can be. We introduced a home delivery program, which is an ever growing revenue stream for the Club. We honored our "hometown heroes" at hospitals and emergency stations with delivered meals, and through that, garnered a larger sense of community. Moving forward into the coming year, we will "shelf" our virtual experiences for hands-on social events. The calendar is again adapted to ensure many more events that will provide enumerable social opportunities for all our members. During the past couple years, the average age of the incoming member has lowered and has included more families in the community. The planned events will incorporate gatherings to include the interests of younger, as well as more mature, members.

MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS

As mentioned, the long range planning commitment to enhancing the club amenities will come to fruition with the completion of the golf course project. The continued Strategic Planning program will turn its focus to the next five years and beyond.

Thanks to progressive leadership through our Board and management, operations are constantly evolving to meet the ever changing needs and ideas presented by the membership. Innovations such as interactive mobile apps and website chat lines have expanded communications between management, staff and members.
