Two years ago, Addison Reserve Country Club received the distinction of being named the #7 out of the top 150 country clubs in the country, and as #32 in the world by Platinum Clubs of the World.

We were honored to be recognized at that level considering the excellence in service provided by our many peer clubs who were also recognized in 2018. This year we are again honored to be considered and want to share with you Addison Reserve highlights that have taken place over the past two years.

Universal Recognition

In 2018, we completed an upgrade to our Club's website that projects the all-around image of luxury and the health and wellness focus of our Club and community.

Our digital footprint continues to expand through our Facebook and Instagram presence, both to the public and to our membership. Our YouTube channel following has expanded as our Sports Tips videos are viewed nationally and internationally.

Last year we added a Live Chat Line to our website, a feature that has allowed us to have "chats" with prospective members in today's virtual world.

When COVID-19 hit South Florida, our CEO and General Manager Michael McCarthy led the way in organizing the Club's initiative to provide food to hospital staff, first responders, and EMS. What started as a local initiative has now turned into a national outreach program because of Michael's involvement at Club Helps.

Junior Golf Camps are available throughout the year. My boys learn a lot and have a great time! The golf pros are always available to give a lesson or just lend a helping hand while we are practicing on the range.

EXCELLENCE IN AMENITIES AND FACILITIES

Our new 35,000 sq. ft. Lifestyle Complex, designed to capitalize on the South Florida living style with green spaces and outdoor amenities, opened in the fall of 2019.

The resort-style free form pool is the focal point of the complex that provides a two-story state-of-the-art fitness center, a luxurious spa, sports pro shop, 11 lighted Har-Tru Tennis Courts, four Pickleball courts, a full basketball court, children's aquatic center, and game room and The Grill restaurant.

Members may dine at the indoor/outdoor bar, inside the restaurant, or outside by the scenic waterfall. In addition, the Board and membership has approved a complete renovation of the 70,000 sq. ft. clubhouse that will commence September 1, 2020.

CALIBER OF STAFF AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE LEVELS

Excellence in Service is our motto – and that is embraced 100% by our staff members. Management and line staff alike appreciate the support of the Board and are dedicated to delivering excellence each day.

The delivery of excellence has been challenging over the past few months and adaptation has been the key to our continued success. In addition to our full-time staff members, we have a large complement of young international interns. Each year, they get better and better!

Our training programs provide them the tools they need to provide excellence, and from month to month, you can see the confidence building. Our full-time staff is exemplary. Recognized by our members as "the best," the entire staff is encouraged to reach their career goals, which often takes them to other clubs where they enjoy expanded positions.

COVID-19 -Addison Family Perspective

QUALITY & COMMITMENT OF MEMBERSHIP

The greatest compliment a member can pay us is inviting their friends to join them as a resident and member at Addison Reserve.

Many incoming members have chosen Addison Reserve in part, due to their relationship with existing members. In 2018, our forward-thinking membership overwhelmingly approved the $25M Lifestyle Complex with an over 80% vote.

In 2019, the membership approved the merger of the Master Property Association in the community with the Club. This merger will benefit the residents of the community for years to come with tax savings on their residence and membership fees.

GOVERNANCE & PRUDENT FISCAL MANAGEMENT

Our dynamic Board of Directors is attuned to the future of Addison. Decisions made today affect existing members, as well as future members. Our five-year strategic plan sets forth parameters for fiscal and operational stability.

The Club has a strong capital reserve position that the Board monitors on a consistent basis. The merger of the Club and Master Property Association has afforded additional financial savings to both entities.

ADAPTING TO CHANGING TIMES

Ever-changing has been 2020's slogan! Our service to our Members was adapted in March 2020 to provide at-home services to our residents.

We adopted a food delivery program offering lunch, dinner, and marketplace items. Members receive daily menus for their ordering convenience. Our "Today at Your Home" emails share at-home activities, fitness tips from our Fitness staff, and sites to visit for educational purposes.

We provide the same level of service door to door that we would if you were here at the Club. We also created an online pro shop for our shoppers' convenience. Orders are fulfilled through our Club pro shops and delivered to the Member home.
