Derron is a native South Floridian. Born and raised in Boynton Beach, he grew up playing in local junior golf tournaments including the Palm Beach County Junior Golf Association. He attended College at Florida Atlantic University where he played golf collegiately for four years, which included two individual wins as well as a U.S. Amateur appearance at the Atlanta Athletic Club in 2014. Derron’s extensive competitive background in golf offers a unique perspective into playing the game at a high level for the membership at Addison Reserve. Currently Derron is in the PGA Professional Golf Management program in hopes of attaining his class A certification from the PGA of America.
